1. Document the details

First you’ll need to determine some things before we get started:

  • Which shipping destinations qualify for free shipping? International shipping can cost quite a bit more, so consider the impact before you roll it out or limit the discount to domestic destinations only.
  • What, if any, is the minimum purchase amount to qualify? (Consider specifying a minimum purchase amount to increase order sizes which should help offset the free shipping expense)

2. Implement the discount in Shopify

To implement this sale in Shopify, you can use a Discount Code or Script Editor discount.

Use the details from Step 1 to create the Shopify Free Shipping discount.

In this example, we’ll create a free shipping discount code for orders $75 and higher.

Enter the discount code: Shopify discount code

Select the Free shipping discount type: Shopify discount type

Enter a minimum purchase amount of $75: Shopify discount minimum

3. Highlight the products eligible for free shipping
