Looking for instructions for how to install a Best Seller Insights snippet in your Shopify theme?

Well you've come to the right place.

Below you'll find instructions for installing both the Top Rank Badge and Top Rank List for the Best Seller Insights Shopify app.

Before you get started...

Make sure you've configured your settings for the Top Rank Badge or Top Rank List and saved them before you begin.

This will create the snippet in your currently published Shopify theme.

The Top Rank Badge snippet will be stored in your theme at snippets/bsi-top-rank-badge.liquid

The Top Rank List snippet will be stored in your theme at snippets/bsi-top-rank-list.liquid

How to open your theme in the Shopify Theme Editor

From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.

Find the theme you want to edit and click Actions, then click Edit code.

Installing the Top Rank Badge snippet

The Top Rank Badge snippet can be placed anywhere you see a product in your Shopify store. This typically includes your product and collection pages.

To add the Top Rank Badge snippet to your theme, you just need to add a render line where you'd like the badge to show similar to this one:

{% render 'bsi-top-rank-badge', product: product %}

Installing the Top Rank List snippet

The Top Rank List snippet works best on the product page of your Shopify store.

To add the Top Rank List snippet to your theme, you just need to add a render line where you'd like the badge to show similar to this one:

{% render 'bsi-top-rank-list', product: product %}

Finding the right place to include the snippet

The instructions for Best Seller Insights are very similar. You'll just need to use the above render bsi-top-rank-badge or bsi-top-rank-list statements in place of the data-flair-product-badge line.
