Announcing Flair Gen 3 Early Access

We’re thrilled to announce the next generation of Flair: Flair Gen 3.

Flair Gen 3 was built from the ground up to be the fastest and most customizable version of Flair, and takes advantage of the best technologies and tooling that Shopify has to offer.

Flair Gen 3 Highlights

• Flexibility and power. Uses the latest and best Shopify technologies for building custom theme experiences (the Storefront APIs).
• Speed and reliability. Runs 100% on Shopify infrastructure, for maximum performance and scalability.
• Fully customizable. Even more customization options to display your promotions exactly how and where you like.
• No code changes required. Simple code-free installation, with support for advanced code options when needed.

Release Schedule

New Flair customers that signed up on or after September 18, 2024 are already using Flair Gen 3.

Existing Flair customers can request access to early access now by contacting support. We've designed the upgrade process to be as smooth as possible. For most customers, no changes should be needed to your Flair promotions or installation.

Flair Gen 3 will be generally available to all customers in January 2025.

Flair Gen 2 will be supported throughout 2025 to allow for plenty of time to upgrade to Gen 3. After this date, stores will not be able to edit their Flair promotions until they complete the upgrade.
