Since 2016 Burst Commerce has been helping thousands of Shopify sellers boost sales and grow their business with our apps Flair and Best Sellers. We’ve also recently released our Selling More on Shopify guides to help businesses merchandise effectively.

About the job

Shopify is growing like crazy, which means there are thousands of new stores every week (every day?) that could benefit from our products. And we’d like to serve them! We’re looking for a growth-oriented marketer to help us increase awareness of our products within the Shopify ecosystem, with an eye toward top-line revenue.

As our first marketing hire, you will help shape the voice of the company and have the freedom to create interesting engaging content, share the successes of our wonderful customers, and work with relevant companies in our space to get the word out.

About you

Must-haves

  • 3+ years of experience with marketing software products with an emphasis on growth
  • An excellent storyteller who communicates clearly, and is a compelling writer and entrepreneurial thinker
  • Proven track record of crafting experiments and scaling them
  • Ability to optimize conversion at every step of the product journey
  • A focus on using data to track the results of each marketing activity

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience marketing Shopify apps
  • Shopify platform or e-commerce experience
